Huntmaster Training prepares volunteers to perform four primary functions: running hunts, recruiting youth, volunteers and landowners, promoting the Texas Youth Hunting Program and assisting with volunteer training. Huntmasters are background checked and pledge to: conduct Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP) youth hunts and activities in accordance with the Huntmaster Manual and the training provided at Huntmaster Training (HMT). Lodging, meals, and course materials are provided.
